Actually I would prefer any movies that have positive role models and a nice ending?

I've seen quite a few documentaries that feature FTMs. I did a search on some of the movies I've seen - I don't know how accessible the movies are: one is called A Boy Named Sue (made by Julie Wyman) , which follows 7 years of a person who goes from being a butch lesbian to becoming a "big old bi-transman". Then there's The Ride (by Bill Basquin) which is about a lonely cabbie FTM who picks up female passengers. Then there's Manhood (by Mia Engberg) about an FTM and his relationship with his girlfriend. And finally Crimson (by Hoang Tan Nguyen), which is a collage about two buddies who drift apart when one of them changes gender.

But as far as mainstream movies, there's only 2 movies I've seen that have FTM characters. Victor Victoria is about a woman that dresses up as a man, then in the other movie TransAmerica there's a minor character who is FTM played by an actual FTM - he's only in one scene in that movie.

I hope this all helps.

Take care,
Crystal

I am not sure if it was FTM but in the movie "If these walls could talk II" The second part had a character very much in the role of FTM.

It's a moronic movie meant to use the exact same tactics that the Discovery Institute does (lie and deceive the public to make it seem as if there's a big conspiracy) and it did not supply any facts at all.

No, but in season three of the Showtime show, The L Word, there is a main character Moira/Max that is going through FTM transition.

I have not seen it yet, but I believe "Transamerica" is one. It features felicity huffman as a man turned woman.
