Talk to a lawyer. But from the info you have provided I don't believe you have a basis for a lawsuit.

There is a professional field called A.D.R. (Alternative Dispute Resolution), which includes:
1. Mediation
2. Arbitration and
3. Ombuds
I suggest you try mediation first, as it is voluntary, fast and affordable. It can even be done online.
The process is simple:
1. Each side gets to tell their side of the story.
2. Dialogue between parties.
3. Identify issues and prioritize them.
4. Brainstorm solutions, select best choices.
5. Draft a mutually agreeable written agreement.
6. Implement the agreement.
A professional mediator guides you through this process and is not a judge (like in an arbitration). The participants in a mediation come up with their own mutually agreeable solutions. Most mediations can be completed in 2 hours.
Good luck! Contact me if you want to make an appointment or ask more questions.

You can file a law suite against anybody you want.
Will you have a case...that's another question.
