It depends which pattern you think it will follow. It may be that Australia loses the Ashes next year, given that they won this year and lost the year before. Or it may be that it takes another 16 or so years for England to win again, given that's how long it took the last time. Australia do tend to be the better team in history so Aussie Aussie Aussie!

England will never win back the ashes - I have sought divine guidance and confirmed that Australia will hold them forever. Australians are distilled Brits, the best parts of England separated and refined for 200 years. England does not stand a chance against these elite, genetically perfect sportsmen. Case closed.

They can defenitely win back the Ashes by strengthing the team, which they will defenitely do.
