When I say best, I mean a movie that holds your attention and is very interesting, can be any genre. The movie A Perfect World was good I thought, it has Kevin Costner in it and I don't even like him as an actor. Another movie I watched recently, Lucky Number Slevin was good, but I never heard much hype about it either.

The Professional. For a low budget B movie this one really surprised the box office. and sold many more DVDs than anyone really expected. Check out the review in the link below.

Although I haven't seen "Lucky Number Slevin" I totally agree about "A Perfect World". I feel that "A Midnight Clear" is a great film that really should have received a lot more credit than it did.

The Watcher starring Keanu Reeves and James Spader. That movie was great. I never pictured Keanu as a serial killer. Lucky Number Slevin was a good too. The Crow was underratted wayyyyyy underrated. That movie was awesome.
I just had to add Boondock Saints...That was an f_cking great movie too.. thanks to whoever said it above me.
I forgot Mallrats, Dogma, Clerks, Clerks 2 and Jay and Silent Bob strike back...Those are awesome Kevin Smith Movies. They are all underrated.

1.) Artificial Intelligence with the actor Jude Law and Haley Osment in it. I am still surprised that it didn't get very large audience, because it was the best movie I've ever seen, and it was also a Steven Spielberg film.

2.)Harsh Times
3.)Running Scared
4.)Haven
5.)Bringing Down the House
