If they still fit then wear them. I dont go clothes shopping a lot. I actually dont remember the last time I did... I would always wear the clothes from last year. Theres nothing wrong with it, and do people really notice or care? I get rid of my clothes when they dont fit or I KNOW that I wont wear them again.

I wear the same clothes..but I have some new. You can't replace your whole wardrobe every year, that would get pricey. Learn how to mix and match, or ACCESSORIZE. That's a girls BEST FRIEND. it can turn any casual jeans and a top dressy, or a skirt just a casual sporty outfit. Most likely nobody will remember everything you wore last year, and you probably won't even be with the same people if you're in middle school or higher. Don't worry so much about what people think, because they really, truley don't care.

You should definitely keep wearing your old clothes!! I'm in college and still have clothes from high school that I wear. The trick is to buy clothes that will transcend fad's and will work years from now. You can then buy your fun clothes that are very trendy and might not make it to next season as a supplement to your wardrobe. The "fun" stuff you could then not wear the next year as you feel appropriate. Not to mention your mom will probably be inclined to buy you nicer clothes, and more of it, if she knows you'll be wearing it longer than a year.

Nobody but you gives a crap if you wear the same clothes from last year because they don't remember. Plus, it's wasteful. Sure, there may be those clothes that you never wear anymore so you give them away and get new ones. What about those old favorites, though? Fashions are around for longer than a year.

I always go through all my around the last month of summer clothes and keep the good clothes that are cute and still fit. THen give the other ones away or throw them away. Then go shopping for more clothes its good to keep some and buy new ones

Heck I can make a pair of pants last for 3 years and I have shoes that are still nice that I have had for 6 years. If taken care of properly your clothes can still look good and if you don't grow they can be worn. Unless you are a fashion conscious person you can save some money or expand your wardrobe. I would wear the same clothes from last year.

if the clothes are in good condition still then u should still wear them! if not then throw them out and buy new clothes but thats kind of stupid to stop wearing last years clothes, like no one really cares what u wear as long as u are wearing clothes, no one notices but you, really!
your mom is smart and wise and knows alot more then u and i think u should listen to ur mom,, shes a smart woman, by the sounds of it!

yup. i wear the clothes from last year....im pretty into fashion too though, so i buy a few new ones, normally you can take a shirt from last year and a new one and make an up to date outfit out of them, or just adding accessories can up date...but you definitely dont need to buy all new. thats for the idiots that have no sense of style and rely on AE to tell them whats " ok to wear for the season"

I always used to buy new clothes every year but from time to time I will mix it up with some of the old clothes I had. But I mostly passed down my clothes to my cousins. Its true....when you're in college clothes don't matter....you're to busy keeping up with your classes and tuition.
