I think during ones life, you can have more than one true love...
But.. you must be able to differentiate between love...and lust.

Yes, but he's at work right now.
I never felt love before my husband, so I can't say that all others are in vain. I think sometimes people use the word love too freely. I have liked people alot and had fun with them, and maybe even had a little lust for them. But I have never been able to picture sharing my life with someone like I do my husband.

Yes, and I am living with and engaged to my one true love, my soul mate. As for the others, they are not in vain. I have learned a lot from them, from the mistakes I made with them to the mistakes they made with me that I don't want anyone else to do again. No, our relationship isn't totally perfect and no one's is, but it is pretty close. That is the type of relationship I have always wanted, and I finally have it. It takes lots of hard work to get and keep a great relationship, even a good one. If you are willing to do the work, then the relationship will be worth it to you and your partner.

No.
I don't believe that we should ever limit ourselves to the idea of just one 'true' love.
There are many people that we can love passionately and intensely.
To claim that there is only one is to create a limit for ourselves.
Or perhaps it's just a method used to comfort us...
In the end, we are capable of loving many people. The thing is that no love is the same. Different people, different types of love.
Nonetheless, they are all wonderful.

Well since there is about 100 million different definitions of love, I'd have to say there is a chance someone might have a similar definition to mine.
Right now I think I have a better chance of winning the lottery tho'!

I do not think there is just one love. I think many people come into your life, and all have their reason, and some you will always have a connection to and love for. I am married to a wonderful man who i love more then life, but there is still people i will always care for, just not as deeply.

I didn't use to believe in that.
Now I do.
I was bitter for many years.
I met someone who changed my heart and waited for me(8years) to come around.
But I knew from the first date that this person was the "ONE."
I kissed MANY frogs along the way.
But I learned how NOT to be treated.
