I can't handle it it's just so difficult...
If a human bodycould convert a candy bar directly into work, how high could an 82-kg man climb a ladderif he were feuled by one bar (1100 kJ)? Also, if the man then jumped off, what will be his speed when he reaches the bottom?
Please tell me what to do or even how to start cuz i'm stuck...

F = m * g = 82kg * 9.8 m/s^2 = 803.6N

803.6d = 1100kNm

Step 3: Given the distance, find the velocity at the bottom if he jumps. Use Torricelli's Equation:
vf^2 = vi^2 + 2ad
Vi is 0 (since he jumps from rest), so:
vf^2 = 2ad = 2 * 9.8 * 1368.8m = 26828.48
vf = sqrt(26828.48) = 163.79 m/s (solution #2)
