Okay, so I recently got new eye glasses and wanted a change from the normal metal frames. I got the thick framed (or what most people call "emo glasses") style and don't know if they enhance my natural characteristics or what. They look a lot like this:

Well.....would they look good on girls with a small facial structure, long, thin face?
I dunno if they're "dorky" or "chic". Help?
If it helps, I have a tan-ish complexion and am a brunette.

Very cute.... I wear them myself and get lots of compliments. I do have to say though, it's all in how you feel about yourself. If you are confident in yourself and feel good about yourself, you could wear the ugliest glasses in the world, and they'd look great.
Be happy with yourself, be confident and you'll be great.

I would honestly say, it depends on who you are. I know 2 people that have thick glasses and it looks good on them. They wouldnt look so good on me... I have thin framed glasses. My one friend has a round face, used to have blonde hair, but is now redish brown, and is tanish and the other has a somewhat long face and thin whiteish-tanish, and has dirty blonde hair. I know this might not help you much, but its true. All you can really do is just try them on if you have the chance. At my Eye doctor there was a person in the room while I was trying them on and I guess they knew by the look of my face what was going to work so she went around picking like 12 pairs of glasses out. So basically what I'm saying is... it depends on the person, try them on, and check with a person that knows about that stuff at the eye doctors if they have one.

Well i like them as long as u mean (when you say think rimmed glasses) like the rectangurlar kind or smaller kind.
the dorky kind would be the kind in the 90's that are huge and go down to your cheeks
go for wide rimmed but try avoiding the round ones

Thick rimmed glasses are fashionable these days. It needs to enhance your feature. Wear with appropriate clothes can make one sexy. Since you've already got one pair, I suggest you use them. Don't let it go to waste.

I personally love them. Either way, the glasses have to fit your face. I think how you look in them is how comfortable you feel in them. If you feel like yourself you should be alright.

I think that it depends on whether you think it looks hot or not. If you act like it is, people will think it is. But it you act like you think they are dorky, then people will think that too. I can picture it on you, with the info you gave. And I think it would look great.

depends on the girl. if the girl is hot in the first place she still will be w/ glasses.

i think its ok. one of the coolest guys in our school wears the usual"geek glasses" black, and it doesnt bother him to wear it in front of people. it all depends on you.
