I was in a 5 year relationship and we recently broke up. He no longer loved me but it wasn't because he stopped being attracted to me but because we had problems in the past. I was jealous, controlling, and I hurt him with my bad temper. However, there were other parts of me that were great and even he sees that. I was always faithful and I helped him out when he was lonely, sad, broke, etc etc. Basically I loved him but I was young and didn't know how to manage my emotions. Now I am 21 and I honestly see my faults and have actually changed a lot because upon seeing who I was I became angry with myself and knew I had to change for myself not for him. He even told me he thought I was the one and that if it had not been for those negative things we could have had something amazing. So do you guys think if negative things in a relationship are fixed it can one day work again? And I mean fixed because each person does it to improve themselves not just to get the other back. Any examples?

No when its over its over you can use those improvements in your next relationship sometimes a person can bring out the worst in you maybe even make you feel responsible because the relationship is not working in order to get thier own way. It sounds like you gave your best and you might think you will never find someone else but you will be patient and keep working on yourself.

It's like that country song says, "What's meant to be will always find a way."

Yes I do believe that to be true. God will always make a way.

If it's meant to be, it WILL BE.

God works in mysterious ways. You just have to have faith in Him. He has a plan for you...
