is it ok to be liked by a teacher?

my math teacher said she likes me(her student) in front of the class. is this ok or kinda weird?

It's fine my history teacher said he liked me to. it's normal, as long as she does not come on to you if so then it's a problem.

does she mean she likes you as a student or likes you as in wants you? it all depends.
