My relatives were the founding fathers of this country and ate Thanksgiving with the Indians. And I know they would roll over in their graves if they could see what I see it becoming.

Unless your a native American your a foreigner modern America was built by foreigners
And I dont rember reading in the history books about the first American settlers going out there way to conform to the Native American way of life.
Its perfect Karma really the whites had to kill the Native Americans and then get black slaves to build America and yet the Latinos are taking over this country and yet they dont have to shed one single drop of blood.Just be gratefull that the people who come here now arent killing everyone like the whites did to the Native Americans.

Dude you have every reason to complain and no argument necesary to be believed or trusted, welcome to the overpopulated 21th century, where americans say what is true and the rest shutters to nonexistance and oblivion, sir yes sir.
If you do not apreciate the sweet juanitas or the dulce rancheritas you are not missing the world, if you never got to andean cuisine you are haunted by spices and flavors never to be seen on national tv. Where are my enchiladas when I want them? is my peruvian rotiserie actually there in thirty minutes?
I used to save money for my car and all stuff only americans were used to in the eighties or so I am told, who gives the good one now.
People move to America searching for their own contribution to life and some respect, even if we are to be misstreated or buffed at, only to be that in our perceptions and delusions.
Most care for the petty troubles and some illegal cable connection. Some want some liberties or sense of freedom from ancestor reign, and we have it forever afterwards, even with hearing problems and no more air conditioning.
I assume you too get to see some problems getting to money and education, we suffer only a little out of this, because at least those I got to know felt risponsible of their actions and social dilemmas, and wanted some stability and marriage, not necesarily an american, though I have to tell you I liked the spongy ones.
Have a nice day.

go jeffs girl.go. Funny thing, this evening I phoned l4 major well known stores in my town. Just to see how they answered. 1 said "Happy Holidays" 2 said "Merry Christmas" All the rest just said good evening, how may i direct your call or whatever they say all year. To morrow I am going on the web and email the ones that were neutrel. I will not shop at their store all year. The 3 that recognised the season would get all my business. Boycotting might be the only way to get Christmas and Christmas music back. I was born here, but I moved out of a hugh city to a smaller rural town. Does that sort of qualify my answer. Hope so.

You must be a native american, huh?
Otherwise chill the fu** out. This is a whole nation of foreigners including YOU and our government is actually founded on freedom of religion which encompasses a whole lot more than Christianity and Judism. My family has been here since before the american revolution and Im not ABOUT to conform to some shite brained idea of what Im supposed to be. Many of us find the diversity of people from different cultures generally WAY more interesting and often GENUINE that TV/mall addicted whitebread idiots. Do you really have any stones to throw or even a reason to throw them?

I didn't, I was born here! But my grandparents were immigrants. I'd ask them why they came here, but they're all dead. By the way, they have contributed so much money to this country's revenues through taxation and otherwise, that you'd be ashamed for even having asked that question if you could even comprehend the answer.
By the way, if Pat Buchanan, a small-minded xenophobe, had HIS way about immigration reform, and it had always been that way, he'd be in Ireland right now fighting with his fists instead of in the U.S. with rhetoric.
K?
Happy Holidays to you.
In peace.

i didnt have a choice i was in my mothers stomache. either way.. some people do contribute in a good way and others do not and those are the ones that complain. they talk about not having enough money but they send what they do have to their countries so people like that should just leave because they are sending AMERICAN money to their countries. i think that if they are helping the econ. they should stay but if they dont work, go to skool and are just here to walk around on the street they should be sent back.

My maternal grandmother came here from Germany with her family to get away from Hitler. She spoke no english until she was 5 and learned it in school. All of the family eventually learned and spoke only english. By the time my grandmother was in her 50's she had forgotten all but a few words of her native German language. I have never in my life heard any of them complain about ANYTHING connected with this country. They never asked for any special treatment or expected anyone to change for them. I can also say this about my paternal grandparents who came from Austria.

1. I'm moving there because i want to be with my husband. We've spent 6 years doing long distance and I just want to be with him no matter which country it's in. The thing is, he has a great job in the US that it would take him many many years to find in Canada because he'd be starting over and I can't ask him to leave that behind.
2. The ONLY reason I'm coming to your country is because of my husband because I'm leaving everything I know and love in Canada. And yes, you jerk, I'm coming in legally.
3. I'll say what I like. Your Constitution guarantees that right.
4. My husband was born American and whatever impacts him and his family directly impacts me so you can bite my big fat butt if you don't like the fact that I'm going to speak out for my husband and his family in their support. I don't want any of them murdered by the likes of Bush's religious gvt. Because I LOVE my family. I don't love the crap that goes on in the US.
So, you know what? Get over your arrogant self. Because I'm not shutting my mouth just because you don't like it.
