I'm looking to buy a new car out of college, but I'm not sure if these cars have an 07 model and which would you prefer?

I am considering the 350Z, RSX type S, Lancer Evolution MR, Pontiac GTO, Shelby GT500, Scion Tc, Civic Si, RX-8, and S2000.

I plan on spending upto 50k, but would rather spend less so I can modify the car.

Thank You!

To start off the Acura RSX Type-S, and the Pontiac GTO are not in production anymore while the rest of them are. Now I do not know what your expectations in a car are but if you want a domestic hotrod that'll smoke tires day and night and outrun anything out there than I recommend the Ford Mustang Shelby GT500. But if you want something to modify excesively and look like the racers from the "Fast and Furious" than pick any of the other models. Personally I would prefer either the Nissan 350Z because of the perfect 3.5 liter V6 and amazing status quo. The base price of the 350Z is $27,650 in which you already get the 300hp V6 with the 6-speed manual and 18" cast aluminum-alloy wheels. I would consider the Pontiac GTO however, GM does not plan on making them for 2007. Good luck with you choice.

350Z FOR SURE, nissans makin too much off that to take it off the market, the RSX just came out with a 2nd generation model last year and didnt sell as well as the 1st gen so that unknown, the Evo has came out with a new gen but they dont plan on bringing it ouit till about '08, the GTO of course, Shelby GT500 barely makin any models, Scion yup, Civic yup, same Gen, rx-8 same thing, and s200 highly doubtful

I have a 2001 model and I just wanted to say it has the best air con I have ever had. It is comfortable and in the 7 years I have had it I have never had a mechanical problem. I will be getting a new car this or next year and I think i will be getting teh same. Only one thing - mine is a little short in the back and my friends knock their head on the roof. This may have been sorted by the 2007 model tho. test taht.

Dude,

As someone who graduated from colelge 12 years ago, forget spending you money on a new car. Buy a townhouse or condo, and then get a car. A used car!

If you take this advice, you'll be thanking me for the rest of your life. Buy something that is going appreciate in value, then spend your money on things that don't.

Why buy a $40K car that is only worth $28K when you drive it off the lot, plus pay rent to someone, at the very least $10K a year, when you could be paying yourself with a house, and buy a car that has already taken a depreciation hit?

Just my opinion. I just wish someone had told me what I'm telling you when I graduated.
