How do I turn my picture into an icon for AIM?

I was trying to do it but it always says its too big and then it says something about pixels. Does anyone know how to do it and tell me how? Thanks

acceptable click on the image whilst its on your folder,then click on 'reproduction' then open the paint application up and paste it there.then click on the gadget thats the form of a rectangle yet its defined with a dotted line,no longer a reliable one.then verify it covers the whole image after which you would be able to resize it by utilising clicking on the corners and dragging them in:)
