yes....I never was allergic to soaps....now that I'm older....certain soaps (like Dove, Caress, etc.)...make me break out in a rash on my face....and itch...the best for me is Irish Spring...my mom says as you get older...your immune system is not as good...and you tend to get certain allergies.

No, but I undeveloped an allergy later in life.
I was deathly allergic to horses...a big problem considering my family is active riders. I was prescribed sub-lingual drops containing small amounts of horse dander, which would gradually increase my tolerance. My five year treatment ended after only a few months when my refills were confiscated at the Egyptian border. Keeping with the philosophy of the drops, I went around horses a bit at a time. Today, I'm 80% cured!
On the other hand, if you eat too much of the same food--especially soy, wheat, eggs, milk or nuts--you can develop an allergy to it. Such food allergies result from repeated exposure to food antigens and their reactions occur hours to days after exposure. Unlike, 'born' food allergies (IgE), acquired food allergies (IgG) are cumulative in nature (they get worse with increased exposure unlike my horse, which improved) and their symptoms include memory loss, depression, mental fatigue as well as physical ailments.
The ELISA delayed food allergy test is a comprehensive blood test which determines your allergic status for over 300 common food allergies. I was surprised to see both the foods I disliked most and craved most on my allergic list.

I have found out that millions of people, having an allergy, have died from taking medicines approved by the FDA. I suggest no one take them ever; instead, go to natural cures, where there are on "potential hazards" according to newspapers.
