Have a small party with close relatives & close friends only. If you can afford it, make reservations at a nice hotel for two nights & request champagne. And kick those guests out after 2 hrs of happiness in his return. I am so glad for you that he is coming home. Have a wonderful Christmas.

A banner in a main entry way to the city, at the City Hall, and/or at your home. (Some city's will want to recognize veteran's returns).

Get a friend to videotape your initial reunion. (You can videotape the "obvious" reunion and post it later. We all want to see it!) Kidding.
