A gas can be fluid, and a person. The word fluid can itself be described as fluid, meaning it can be changed. It refers to the property of a liquid to conform its shape to its container. Its meaning has been altered since to a few more poetic meanings, in that fluid can mean changing readily.
Liquid, however, is a state of matter. It is the state cooler than gas and warmer than solid.
For your application, fluid is probably more often used, but either works just fine.

The word "liquid" is often used to denote the substance at rest while the word "fluid" is descriptive of motion.
But if youre thinking of branding terms, notice that the word "fluid" is used for more, thicker and richer substances and usually evokes something that is small, precious and used sparingly like "breaking fluid", "bodily fluid" [ : ) ], oils and the like. "Liquid" on the other hand, is usually in cleansers, drinks and anything that might indicate that it flows more because it has more water, or like it.
So I think "liquid" is the one to use since that what it feels like with a car cleanser.
Luck to ya!
