Yes. The most recent example of that for me, was today in church, as I sat and listened to my son,( who is now 27,married,and expecting his first baby in April ) singing a song of praise. I was so filled with love and pure joy for the man he's grown into and the love he has for God and everyone he comes into contact with that I felt my heart would burst from the pure joy of it.

I once had a love who taught me so much about myself, and made me want to greater things with my life. He came into my life when I needed someone the most who could show me that I was indeed a loving, deserving person. I broke down in tears a number of times due to deep love and joy when I was around him, and later when we were no longer together. I was always love this person, and he will always hold a special place in my heart.

I cried when both of my sons were born. The first I was with my wife in Korea, we were in the military and I wanted to be with her. So I flew her to Korea where I was stationed and she had the baby. My second son was born while I was in Iraq, back in 1990. I didn't get to see him for 6 months after his birth. Then again I cried when I saw him, my wife and our fist son. I have cried many times since but not for joy, but when my wife told me she did not love me anymore and that she wanted a divorce. We are now getting along better and I am hoping to work it out to where we will be together again. I hope it last forever giving me another reason to cry for joy!

The first time was when my daughter played a piano solo in the school play in 8th grade- she played the theme from Titanic-- I cryed through her whole recital.
The second was when she given her bachelors degree in science at her graduation ceremony-- to see her all grown up --- words could not describe.
The third is when she told me how one of her patient's coded, she was working 12hr shifts- on nights- and she was alone with only one other person on the floor-- she was able to save the patient--- tears of joy--- I was her caregiver- she is now a compassionate, loving caregiver-- full circle of life.

Yep.. I did experience it once..
We were crossing the NH at Trivendrum when my younger brother just fell down in the middle of the road. There was a truck fast approaching and there was nothing we cud do to save him. Luckily the driver of the truck saw him from a distance and screeched to a halt. I was so relieved that when I hugged my brother there, I broke into tears and he soothed me.... :-)

I hope this doesn't sound too silly, but this was my experience.
I think it was a hallmark commercial and there was a grandmother spending time with her grandchild. It was just a typical grandparent/grandchild moment.
What had caused me to to break down was for the simple fact that I had NEVER ever felt that kind of love from my grandparents. On my mother side, both her parents are dead. I never met my grandparents. On my father side, my sister and I were treated like outsiders. :(
I just don't know how it feels like to have that kind of love and affection from a grandparent and my heart aches for it.

I've been moved to tears many times. I'm thankful that I have the love of my life. I met my beloved through his sister, and he and I became very close after she passed away. His sister was my best friend, and every time I see him, I see her. I am happy he came into my life.

ofcourse, Growing up and maturing faster than my friends has taken upon a different me. Chreding tears for that someone who i thought was special, was one of the bigest mistakes of my life. Yet so far i prosper and learn form my mistakes. Which technically everyone follows from their downfalls to create higher standards.
