It's a scientific fact that the hardest thing to do in professional sports is hit a baseball. How much talent does it really take for a 6'8" dude to slam a ball into a basket? In baseball you have to deal with pitchers of varying talent throwing a ball against a batter who's known for his power, smarts, speed, or any of the above combined. Then you have to deal with a player on the bases who's going to attempt to steal another base. All the while, the catcher is relaying messages to his pitcher and other teammates to line up perfectly to stop something from happening. He's receiving info from his manager or perhaps another player who might be the actual person sending in signals. To top all of that off, there's a guy behind homeplate and one at each base on the field determining whether or not a pitch is a ball or strike, a hit is fair, foul, and sometimes if it's even a homer.

In basketball you have ten guys running up and down a court setting up offenses and defenses called in by a coach.

Baseball is definitely better. I'm not saying basketball is bad, but for sheer talent and concentration, you have to give baseball the edge.

Baseball. The only interesting part of a basketball game is the last 3 minutes. You know there's going to be about 190 points scored, you just don't know who's going to win. In baseball, you never know when the defining moment is going to be and you never know whether you'll get a 1-0 duel or a 12-8 slugfest. And that's just the beginning, not getting into the intricacies of the game.

I like both, but as of right now, baseball beats basketball because the NBA is riding in very dark days now. It's hard watching a team you once loved more than anything all gone now, as the players who helped make it great have been traded by owners who don't care. It's hard watching the reputation of the NBA getting ruined because of brawls that explode out of the pent-up frustration that has taken over. It's hard seeing referees showing bias and making bad calls that steal championships away from teams that deserve them. I'm glad I have baseball to follow.

Basketball's not my game. I love baseball. My team winning the World Series this year didn't hurt either.

It doesn't take much skill to be 6'9" and dunk the ball. Sorry until they raise the baskets at least 12 inches it will not be much fun to watch.
Baseball on the other hand is definitely a game of skill. Hitting a ball that's thrown at you at 90 mph or faster takes a lot of skill.
Baseball is a much better game.

Apples and oranges. They both are fine. But, truly, I would rather watch baseball. If I have to watch basketball, I prefer college ball. The NBA is too much in your face, attitudes, punks.
