As a former player who got hurt very badly right before signing a very good contract, I should say that though you are getting a late start, it is not too late to still have a reasonable chance at playing at a high level. What is life without a dream? It will not, however, be easy.
I suggest that you strength train, work on your agility, and PLAY AS MUCH AS YOU CAN! Baseball is a game where the more experience in game situations you have, the better you will be able to stand out when it comes down to crunch time. Attend clinics, get help from more experienced players, WATCH THE GAME AND LEARN FROM OTHERS, and work on individual skills every chance you get - AFTER YOU DO YOUR HOMEWORK!.
Though you need either a pitching machine or someone else to hit real pitching, there are training aids out there to use in a pinch. THROW A LOT! Many players hurt their arms because they are not strong enough to play every day. However, DON'T ABUSE YOUR ARM, EITHER! Make sure you warm up properly before you go out and try to bust a radar gun or make a one hop throw from center to home.
Be innovative, as well! No one with whom to play catch? Go bounce a golf ball off a brick wall and field it. Hit rocks with a stick! DO ANYTHING YOU CAN THAT WILL IMPROVE YOUR SKILLS. Most of all, though, take care of yourself, and remember to HAVE FUN! AND DON'T DO WHAT I DID AND GET HURT!

Of course it's not too late! You can always pick up a new sport. Now, if you are planning to become a baseball superstar, you probably missed your chance. Pro players usually start playing by 10 or 11, then play in high school and college. Usually they're already in the minor leagues by age 21. But you don't need to be a pro to enjoy the sport. If they have a recreational league where you live, join it and play for fun. It's a great way to make friends and get exercise.

Start playing at a very young age, maybe 5 or 6. They have leagues you can join at that age & not just tee ball. You need good coaches & a dad 2 teach u if u want 2 make it 2 the show.

It's not too late. It would have been better to start at a younger age, but if you are committed and practice your *** off then you can catch up.

The hardest part is going to be hitting 70 mph fastballs or higher, curveballs, and other pitches at the high school level. You need to practice a lot, talk to the coaches early and get some tips, and start conditioning.

Honestly, everyone is right. You have to start at a much younger age. However, developing the stamina, and hand eye cordination at a young age can help. And that can come in any form.

Just work hard, study the art of the game, give it all you've got. And if you do make it to college ball...get your education while you're there!

If you haven't started already, you'd better get on it and really work hard to make it to the majors. If you make it into the minors you'll be competing against guys who started playing baseball when they learned how to walk.
