Or at least inadequately report on them?
I'm willing to listen to evidence that supports the premise, but I doubt such is the case. I know we can make suppositions about media motives, and so on, but it ultimately doesn't seem to be in the media's best interest to under cover such Muslims, noting that behavior helps to engender bigotry. I suppose there are cases of such ignorance, but I doubt there's a widespread policy to ignore the voices of peace and moderation. I wonder if some efforts to get those messages out aren't really as good as claimed.
What do you think?

What I normally recall hearing is someone from an Islamic organisation saying his group's webpage condemned something and asked for dialogue. That, to me, is not a method likely to get much coverage.

Media in US is definitely biased! All you have to do is watch CNN or MSNBC for 2 hours and then go and watch BBC world news and you will see the difference immediately. There are numerous things going on in Middle East that you do not hear it in the US Media. Lets face it the US Media is controlled by Jews. For few days BBC and Turkish media aired the evidence that Jewish military left dozens of "alive" land mines in Lebanon during the conflict over the summer; how many times have the citizens in United States heard about that story? Zero! Last week one of the top officials in Israel said that "Israel has a nuclear bomb and will use it if we have to" after responding to Iranian presidents comments. How many times have we heard about this story on CNN? None.

It relies upon what which skill you're taking from the observe useful, like you ask some guy he says hes a useful muslim which skill he drinks, is going to golf equipment yada yada yet he believes in God and perchance once in per week prays too. Then there are those who call themselves useful muslims, they dont drink, stay sparkling lives, pray and so on. dont do some thing undesirable...i attempt to fall into that classification. so that you cant rather categorize each person, each and every guy is answerable for his personal moves. yet what we could do is ascertain our beliefs are precise and not in any respect distorted, in effortless words then can we flow on and help the brothers and sisters who've lengthy gone off song. Try studying their holy book:
"O you who believe (Muslims)! Do not take the Jews and the Christians for friends; they are friends of each other; and whosoever among you takes them for a friend, then surely shall become one of their number; surely Allah does not guide (those Jewish and Christian) people." - Sura 5:51
"Allah is the enemy of the unbelievers." - Sura 2:98
"Kill them [unbelievers] wherever you find them. Fight with them until there is no persecution, and religion should be only for Allah." - Sura 2:191- 193
99% of them behave so irrationally that they don't distinguish between family and enemies.
For example, a man rapes his sister, and then his brothers kill her "to protect the family honor."

I agree. I don't know about you, but I got a few Muslim friends, and I know a couple of their families. Hell, they've cooked dinner for me (*drools* Mmmmm....) and I can honestly say that all the negative stuff being said about them, either here by ignorant people or the media's presentation, are false. A few rotten apples doesn't mean the whole batch is bad.

The media ignores anyone or anything that will not give them that "exclusive" or "top story". I guess your average everyday Joe would fit into this category.
