i have been to disneyland sooo many times that i have many money saving tips. first i would eat breakfast or lunch near by at a restaurant or fast food. then i would park in the downtown disney parking lot instead of the main ones. there is a 3 hours free there so if you dont want to pay for parking, park for 3 hours, come back in time, exit the parking area and then re enter the parking area. you could also go and get lunch outside the park when your 3 hours are up and then re enter for another 3 hours. basically, try and eat main meals outside the park. so that way you are not paying for parking and are saving alot of money on food. food can kill you at the park. check the disneyland website for special deals on tickets to also save money. i dont know about hotel stays cause i live an hour away and dont stay in them. but would definetely recommend the california adventure hotel. it looks beautiful from the outside. but they have plenty of smaller hotels around too to also save money there.

Having been there 3 times here is my suggestions:
1. Get the free Disney planning DVD by contacting Disney it is in DVD/CD form and really explains everything really well.
2. After viewing this several time plan what you want to do and where you want to stay.
3. Go on line and get the book "Disney Insider Secrets" some really great ideas from a person who used to work there.
4. Always shop around for the best deals before you go.

If you're coming from somewhere else, book a package deal. You can even include a meal plan with the package. Go to the Disney website at http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/wdw/index and use their vacation planner. You can also check out this website for money-saving tips and vacation planners http://www.wdwinfo.com/ .
When you actually go into the parks, take water and snacks with you. You're allowed. Try to eat meals outside the park, unless you have the meal plan. Resist the temptation to buy a zillion souveniers.
Have fun!

I found a very informative website written by Beth Haworth, former Disney Cast Member and Best Selling Travel Writer.
It tells you "How Easily You Can Have A Disney World Vacation For A Fraction Of What Others Pay”.
You may want to check it out:

Hope you find what you want!

That depends you can rent you a time share one or two bedroom. If you have a family. Cook instead of eating out all the time. And give yourself enough time so you can go to some timeshare presentations to get tickets and money. You will have to at least give the timeshare people 90 to 120 minutes of your time but they do feed you. If you have time to spare if not go to disney on off season prices or cheaper.

Have a definite plan before you leave. Showing up and acting spur of the moment will get you frustrated and spending a lot more than you need to.
