Hey,
You would be wanting to use rich colours, bugandy, purple red, dark greens and blues and browns, velvety fabrics, lots of lacing and tight fitting bodices for the ladies, hessian tunics for peasants, men in tights!! I like that!! Soft slipper type shoes, braiding on edges of things and large pendants like crosses, pointy head cone things with scarfy type ends, flared sleeves, very flowing skirts on dresses, vests, leather.... lots of good stuff, sounds like fun, I wish I could help you!! you can get a pattern from k-mart..or go onling on ebay and buy a pattern cheap...fabrics for the costume...cheap...or just buy the ready made costume from ebay

I've been doing this for 30 years!
Go to sca.org., then find your local chapter. They'll put you in touch with someone who can show you exactly what to do...and, what not to do!
