You think you can get creationists to evolve into evolutionists? ROFLMAO!
Having more people accept scientific reality is always a good thing.

The real advantage is in getting people to think about things. I'm Christian, and I'm something of a modified Creationist, but I believe that people should have the opportunity to examine evidence and process it in order to form their own opinions.
Personally, I think that far too many people on either side of the Creation/Evolution debate have already formulated their opinions and are unwilling to examine evidence to the contrary. As a result, both sides seem to shout opposing information at one another without ever realizing that neither of them has fully examined the situation objectively. I DO think, however, that the most vocal people on the side of Creationist ideology are far more pigheaded about the whole thing than the most vocal people on the side of Evolution. In the end, that makes us Creationists look like ignorant, closed-minded hicks who know nothing about science.
But in terms of "converting" people, I don't think that's something we get to do, save by presenting the evidence that helped us to formulate our own opinions.

Was it Adam and Eve or Adam and Steve? Sorry--had to ask--lol
You prove evolution to the point of undeniability, and all religions and the political consequences of religious peoples actions based on those beliefs therein--become a mute point. If I could give you one example of how religion has benefited man other than those involved for "controlling interest" or those who profit from their constituents--I might have a use for a faith--other than a namesake. Proof of evolution would shock the world and the ramifications of faith based peoples--devastating!! Some theorists contend that their was life on Mars that migrated here. That there are alien bases on the moon. If such things are true--our gov't would never release those facts. Ancient Egypt hieroglyphs show pictures of flying saucers with aliens coming out and showing them engineering technologies that may have helped them build the pyramids.
Anything that will unite people under one belief will surely benefit all.

There would be no advantages. The best solution is to turn evoluionists into creationists. Then they would realize the importance of God's omnipotent power.

Wrong category for this question. What does this have to do with politics?
Anyway, I don't see any advantages.
