this perception is becoming so common in the society due to passed-down traditions that woman must be the one to do the job. but actually, there are guys who can look after babies well too.

now, guys seldom do the job cos the society says they have to work for financial support.

That's absolutely ridiculous!!! Of course men can care for children and babies just as well as a woman can. I know quite a few men who are stay at home dads, and the mother is the main breadwinner for the family. Women don't have the ability to take care of kids hard wired into us, it's something we learn to do, just like everything else. Men can learn it just as easily.

I want to say it's not true but then, I have never seen a men taking care of kids. I guess men just don't have a caring heart. Anybody who's ever had a boyfriend would agree with that.

this is an absolutely silly idea.. although many men are not maternal, niether are many woman. the truth is....gender does not determine if you'll be a good, loving parent or not. some people look into their baby's eyes and are deeply changed for life....others just miss out on all that love and happiness, wich is sad for them.i'm mother of 3 kids...all have same dad they do not know, he's never been part of their lives. but i know men who love their own children and children of others, so again, its not a gender issue.

My family can testify that is a bunch of bullshit!!!! My former sister-in-law is now serving time in prison. When she had custody of my nephew, he was in a home that was unsanitary (dirty diapers all over the place, house was never cleaned), his clothes were never washed, and his teeth were horrible (My brother-in-law now takes care of him. How many four year old boys do you know that need to have a cap put on one of their teeth? It was one of the first things he had to do when he was awarded custody). She physically and emotionally abused the boy! He doesn't ask about either she nor his half-brothers.

No.

Many men are capable of taking care of children, even without the woman.

Many woman are quite inept at taking care of children.

no, it's not true, I know some men that take good care of his kids (of course not my ex husband and my boyfriend) , they are very good fathers. And I know also some women that suck at motherhood, that shouldn't be mothers in the first place.
