repost...i asked this question a few days ago but i didnt get much help so any advice is appreciated.i recently reconected with an old friend after many years,everything was going good and we were tlaking everyday.theres nothing romantic between us never has been.he has stopped contacting me for no reason at all and hasnt even had the guts to tell me why.everyone tells me to forget him cuz hes a jerk but its still bothering me.i tried calling him but we only spoke for 20 sec so im still in the dark.whats the best way i should deal with this.?

try to reach out to his heart by asking him what's the matter with him, and ask why is he acting this way lately. if he still doesn't open up or tries to ignore you, it simply means he doesn't want you to bother him. so at then you should just move on without him.
