Ok buddy, if the oven is a metaphor then my husband better preheat before cooking in MY oven! if you mean a real turkey, then yeah, you gotta pre heat....either way, a little preheating does wonders for cooking!

Yeah..it is important for even heat...the same as kindling for a fire...turkey's feel much better when the oven is warmed up...
