I'm a christian and Ive never said or heard anyone say the burka was ugly. I choose not to wear one because I dont have to and I show my beleifs and pride of culture through other things. If someone ever says your burka is ugly dont listen to them. They are just ignorant and mean. And who cares what ignorant mean people think! Don't let a couple bad eggs ruin your perception of all of us!

Why would you stereotype all Christians into this catagory. I have never called a muslum woman stupid or ugly. PErsonally I think ethnic clothes are very cool. I do not wear a burka because I do not feel that the burka is a representative of who I am or where I came from.
I am sorry that you some Christians have spoiled the reputation of the religion as a whole. We as humans have to look at individuals, love each other but hate the unacceptable behaviors. (That's how Christ truly lived, and so should his followers!)

Who says these things? Not the majority of people. Why to Muslim extremists say that Christians/Jews are satans and hedonists. Not the majority of decent Muslims.
I have no idea that women wearing burkas are ugly. You know I can't see them. Yes Christians in Mediterranean areas have historically shown there modesty by covering up.
Just saying that there are bigots in all races and religions. So what? Some of us are picked on because we are fat, skinny, black cripples, unattractive and on and on. We are all a bunch of pathetic victims I guess.
Get over it. If you want to be a victim that is your choice. We make the own worlds we live in. No offense meant.

I am a Christian and do not feel the way you described. If someone insulted you, I'm sorry. Please look beyond that he/she is a Christian. Christians insult one another, some decide "to what degree" you are a Christian. It has nothing to do with Christianity.
That person is rude and unkind.
I do hope you dont, as a muslim, hold contempt for Christians in general (your last question kinda spewed loudly) If I professed Christianity and wore a burka, what would you think of me?

I personally have never heard that particular comment made of Muslim women. But, if anyone did say it, I would question the seriousness of their faith, be it Christian or otherwise. I, myself, am a Christian, and while I don't agree with the Islamic faith, I do not denigrate those who practice it.
Christ said to LOVE your enemies. As well, in speaking of sin, in general, He said to hate the SIN, but LOVE the sinner. So, again, any who go around saying hateful comments about Muslims or anyone else either have a lot of learning to do about their Christian faith or are not really Christians at all. And trust me, there are a LOT of people who THINK they are Christians, but are in fact, very sadly mistaken. And I'm not talking about denominationalism or Catholic vs Protestant vs Baptist.

I am a Christian and do not say Muslim women are ugly.i find it to be the opposite.....People say things when they don't understand the meaning of stuff.......It's your cultural heritage to wear your burka.... People in Iraq are fighting over the same thing you are accusing Christians of....it's the politics of religion that oppresses.......

Ye s the burka is a sign of chastity and purity. Even Catholic nuns wear them. In the Vedic traditions they wear them as well. Don' worry about what others think it is only important to please God (Allah, Krishna, Jehovah, Vishnu, etc)

Whoever told you this doesn't know what they are talking about and has some major issues. I'm a christian and I've never said that or even thought it.
Hon, not all people think this way. Only the ignorant ones that aren't happy with themselves.

Personally I would love to wear a burka'
We should be able to tolerate Muslim dress codes, there would be far fewer rapes and less religious intolerance.

Not ever Christian believes that, and I definitely do not. A lot of people fear for the unknown. Many people who make negative remarks to others, do it to gain pleasure for themselves. Most of the time it is uneducated people who give responses like that.
