Why did you replace just the torque converter? Here is your problem- Think of the oil as syrup-when it is cold it is thick.Hense when it gets warm it thins down. The thicker the oil the more oil pressure you will have. Again cold runs fine-thick oil. Warm thin oil-lower pressure. It maybe the pump but most likely the guts of the tranny or worn out. Time to overhaul or replace.

this is going to be troublesome and it will take extra paintings than in any different case. First, why did the engine lock? in view that it extremely is in basic terms a 1993, i visit assert in keeping with danger by way of ba crank bearing concern. do away with the engine oil pan and seek for obtrusive sings of crank bearing failure. in keeping with danger an overlapped bearing led to the crank to fasten. Loosening the such crank bearing cap might enable you to swap the engine by hand and do away with the torque converter. All i will think of of on the 2d. suitable needs.

Although it's possible the converter you installed is bad, it sounds like a bad pump.
