I have maybe missed a couple of shows but I have to say it has been one of a very few shows that I get crazy about if I miss it! I just think they are a super family I love the farm that Matt has worked so hard on and his wife is so amazingly calm and collective well for the most part and the kids are super! now I have to wait till March for the next round of entertainment. And what happened to Jake when the pumkin hit him???

I live in Oregon and watch the show but No I do not know the family. And the pumpkin didn't hit Jake the machine that was throwing the pumpkin's hit Jake and the guy running the thing. I remember seeing it on the new's here when it happened around Halloween time. And yes Jacob Survived it and he is ok.

i have watched that show since it started and its such a great show and you really start to care for the family members and i am so looking forward to the new season..
what ends up happening is that jake and the family friend mike both ended up hurt .. and i think mike was hurt the worst .. and i hope they'll both be okay

I love this show and get sucked into it everytime it is on! I am fascinated by watching them go through their everyday lives...The love is so obvious between them all...also, a lot of family reality shows thrive and high light the dysfunction, this shows what a warm and caring family group, who are by no means perfect in personality, go through life...it is a stellar show!

on the season premier this fall Matt and Amy had a little thank you at the very beginning. It was to say thanks for all the concern for Mike and Jake and that they were both OK. Love this show!!!!!

I have watched it a few times and I really liked what I saw. The love and respect the family has for each other is inspiring.
