I am still in the process of making my 2ND set, which is a request.

I found three Christmas cards kind of alike (same theme), bought three unfinished wooden frames, pasted the pretty cards inside, and painted the frames with colors pulled from the pictures...then, I got scrap booking packets of cute little items, and pasted them to the frames...I did this for my mom a couple of years ago, and my sister is getting her set (by request) this year

I'm currently in the process of knitting my mom a scarf and I've been knitting this ever since November 1. This is my first time knitting so it's taking me a while, but I know that it'll be greatly appreciated because my mom knits too!

I made a guilt one year for my mother. that was about 15 yrs. ago and she still has it. it meant a lot to me to make it for her and it means a lot that she still has it and she sleeps under it a lot. She told me that everytime she sleeps under it she can feel all the love that went into making it, which I thought was sweet. It took me about six months to make it. It was all done by hand.
