You can say "Five divided by zero equals zero." But you'd be wrong. Think of it this way-- you have five pennies. If you separate them into five different banks, you have one penny in each bank. So, five divided by five equals one. If you have five pennies and you divide them into ZERO different banks, then you still have all five together. That means five divided by five equals FIVE.
