hey what are those games called where u are like in a room and u are trying to get out and u type in something and then the computer responds??

Are you talking about a game with no graphics only text?
Infocom made a lot of these...Suspect, the Zork series, Planetfall.
If these are the sorts of games you are talking about, I've always called them text games.
