I like the band Damone...they have a female lead singer. So does the band Paramore, both are amazing. Flyleaf. Lacuna Coil...Morningwood is another with a female singer...a couple softer rock bands would be Meg & Dia and The Hush Sound (vocals switch between a male and female).

Von Bondies has a female guitarist and a female bass player. One of them even sings some of their songs such as Not That Social.
The Yeah Yeah Yeahs are all female
