i downloaded CounterSpy and did a scan.. after the scan i deleted all of the bad files.. it then said restart my computer and i hit yes.. now my computer will start and its just sits there showing the hour glass and i cant click on anything.. i think there are still parts of the spyware called surf side kick 3 .. idk if that helps bbut someone please give me advice i need to use my computer

You probally remove a Registry that you needed. Well hope you are using Window XP so you can restore your computer to earlier time. Open in safe mode and see what you can do. Now if it a different version You need to restore some setting which I don't even know how. Call the PC Tech....I just Got a Idea do you have two anti-virus/spyware scan on you might want to turn one off. I done that once. You do this by unistall in safe Mode.

I can give a few links that offer free virus and spyware removers...!You may be having a virus or spyware installed on your PC. Norton, AVG , Avast are free antivirus software. Ad-aware, Ewido are free spyware removers. You can download free softwares at

good luck with it, but personally i avoid those software - i use a utility software instead (system mechanic professional) which include these features in its pc maintenance program.

if you don't want to remove it from your pc, you might as well configure it NOT to start as soon as you start your pc or windows, but just start it manually - that way it will not override your windows start up each time you turn your computer on.

Do a system restore and roll the date back tobefore you installed the program. it is in your start up

go into safe mode with networking and download spybot or ad-aware and scan ur system and restart.

try a system restore first, start, all programs, system acessories, system tools, system restore, try that
