Are you really wanting to know that or did you just make that question up to see what we'd say? (Hee hee. Just kidding.) I too wonder about some of the melodrama (relationship) questions. A lot of them just seem way too dorkie to be believed. I've asked some science and religion questions. The science ones because I wanted to know about some chemical reactions and some meteorology. Religion, I asked about opinions on a so-called (made up out of whole cloth) "saint." (The blind don't lead the blind. Liars lead the blind...and the imbecilic!) So, I'd say except for relationships, most of the questions are from a genuine desire for information.

There are some who have serious problems and really want answers. Then you have the majority on here who want attention or who are trying to be funny to see what kind of reactions the questions that they ask will get. Yahoo Answers is a source of entertainment for a lot of people.

I think that its safe to say that a lot of these questions are made up! You do have to sift through them to see if the asker is legit. If I think a question is too off the wall I check their profile to see what kind of questions the asker usually asks to determine if they're for real.

You've got some of both, and many that are idle curiousity and pure entertainment. For some of the latter, check my profile and questions that are open.
People seem to like to ping on the relationship ones, and it is likely a lot of teenage angst beign expressed.

Well, most of them are true with a little bit of a twist. Like for instance, she could say "okay, between these two guys which would you pick.........". it's the real facts, but with an edge or twist.
Peace out! Rock on!! Happy Holidays!!!

There are real questions indeed. But I'm quite sure there are also some who ask just for the sake of asking

you should believe everything you read as opposed to believing nothing you read. Everything has some basis in fact. If you assume something is not true, and it is, how would you feel then if you gave some kind of lame phony answer. Everything I post is absolutely verfiable there toots
