i guess so it is not very common it does remind you of a girls name though but then there are guys out there with the name kelly and lindsey

He could, but that would not be my first choice for a boy. My cousin's name is Kristin, but we all call him Kris. If you call him Kristin, he gets very, very mad because that name is usually used for girls.
