For all you Bucs fans...or anyone else who feels like giving a valid opinion...

What do you think the Bucs should do about their QB situation next year....resign Simms, stick with Gradkowski, draft a QB, or go for a trade or free agent...or something else...

I'm a Bucs fan and would just like to hear different opinions or ideas....and I'm only looking for serious answers please...thanks

Did you see Tim Rataay in the 4th quarter today? He may be the answer. I have a feeling it will be one of those three next year, they can resign Simms for less than they would have had he not ruptured his spleen and lost out on those season stats. Gradkowski seemed to be working through the timing issues pretty well, and he and Galloway hooked up regularly. Alex Smith seemed to really gel well with Rataay, so any one of those three has a shot at the starting job next year.

In the draft, they should look to invigorate that aging defense with some youth and speed, and maybe even trade away an aging veteran on Defense if they can get some decent pass blockers in exchange.

Just several of my thought for directions the team should be moving in.

They need to either draft a QB or sign a proven veteren like Baltimore did with McNair or New Orleans did with Brees. Gradkowski and Simms do not have near enough talent to lead a winning team in the NFL. I think they both have pretty much showed that.

I think Simms should be resigned, bolster the line, and have an open starting QB competition, with Rattay, Gradkowski, and Simms. I see Gradkowski getting cut, Rattay as veteran back up and Simms as starter.

If they could get a quality guy like Brady Quinn or Troy Smith they should go for it. I would also give Rattay a chance at the end here just to see how he does and then make the decision about the three they have. Another option is Matt Schaub, the Atlanta back up who is a free agent and has shown some promise as a good passer.

I don't think they will draft Troy Smith or Brady Quinn. The Bucs need to rebuild their defence first. Derrick Brooks isn't getting any younger. I think they should draft Chris Leak in the 3-4 round.
