Muslim ladies are asked to cover their faces and wear the Hijab which is for their own protection. HIjab is for their own safety. It is not 'declining the freedom'. Beauty is your property, why to show in public?
The face is the centre of Beauty in the human body, if it is covered and not shown publicly, you will be safe from nasty glares, eve-teasing etc...
Islam takes precaution into account first. To decrease crimes like molestation, rape etc, this is the only way.
Check the number of rapes that take place in the US every second. WHy is it? If you try to implement the Islamic concept of Hijab, wont the crimes decline?

Because one of a king 's loyal men (muslim king of course) was ------ (not a good thing) with the king's wife, and he knew it and punished him and the women (including his wife) by forcing them to cover their beautiful faces so men won't get temptation. That's just a story stuff

The women who think that the veil enables to reveal only their amazingly beautiful eyes, which are the windows of their noble souls, they are free to keep it.
Others who wanted to show the beauty of their whole faces, which are also the countenance of God, they are free to leave the veil aside.
The Muslim women in my country are free to show or to hide their faces.

I'm told: So their beauty won't tempt weak-willed men. Instead of taking responsibility for their own actions, the men cover up the women.

Well my friend who is muslim told me that when you go to church or something like that it's a sin for a male to see your face.

based on al Quran, they dont have to cover their faces. but they do need to cover their hair and chests. some of them do cover their faces, maybe, for protection.
