The storylines are scripted, and the wrestling is real. Nothing is really fake, they're just done in ways where the receiver is not seriously injured; or else you'll have a pile of dead people every wrestling night.
Moves hurt, chairshots hurt, they just dont kill. Everything from falling to receiving punches to delivering kicks takes skill and is an art, so nothing is really fake, it's just scriped and pre-determined.

All of the on-camera action is scripted. The moves are pulled off with the full intent of protecting the safety of all wrestlers involved. However, many of the injuries are real, especially if someone blows a move. Like another person said, it's essentially a male soap opera.

However, based on your dislike of TNA, I'm assuming you enjoy the showmanship more than the actual wrestling action. It takes a lot of talent to pull off the moves that most of these guys perform. If you don't believe me, watch the wrestlers in TNA's X division or guys like Paul London, both of the Hardys, RVD, Sabu, or even Edge. Another good place to watch wrestling is the Luchas on the Spanish channels. My only problem with those guys is that they take so long to pull off some of their manuevers that what should be exciting ends up being very, very boring.

Stick to Nickelodeon and the Disney Channel if you cant tell which parts are fake and which parts are real. Until you know that, TNA wont make any sense to you.

the basically element that's actual is the injuries and the blood (from blading) each little thing else interior the WWE is scripted so as that they understand all the strikes and who is going to win beforehand the tournament even occurs.
