In other words, what is the difference between the human emotions behind crying and the human emotions behind laughing?

This question is a shot in the dark to a certain extent. Looking to see if we can turn something up to unlock the mysteries behind emotions.

If you really want an in-depth answer to this question, then you need to read the book, Molecules of Emotion, by Candace Pert, PhD. She's the one who actually discovered the opiate receptors in the brain and has mapped out how our thoughts actually create the chemical reactions in our brain that produce emotions, which in turn, further shape our thoughts. It's really quite fascinating.
