hmm.. it actually depends on the look a person want to acheive and the skin type of a person. normally lip gloss dont give much color, but if they do, its just a slight tint. so most people would use a base with darker color then top it off with gloss.
some people look better with pink, some with red. i guess it just depends on the person. more often than not, people have both.
(oh yeah, if this is for a gift, dont worry. either one would do.)

I have extremely pink lips too, and that i used to video reveal sparkling gloss and then i said that it appeared like i had pink lipstick on!! So i exploit benefit's lipgloss in existence on the a catalogue and it tones mine down an excellent quantity! xXx

It would depend on your coloring of hair, complexion, etc. Basically, blondes generally look better in pinks and brunettes look best in reds.

Let me guess...for a special someone, hu? Well...honestly, I like clear lipgloss, because it goes with any and everything, and it just makes my lips look great. Get it for her, or you can just give her a whole bunch of different kinds. Good luck and Merry Christmas.

I'm a fan of clear gloss myself.,
Is you get a colored one, what is you get the wrong color. Can you take it back? Most likely not. Clear :)
