a picture of a loved one. when the memories get fuzzier and the thoughts of them get less frequent, the picture remains. clear as the day that it was taken. a snapshot of a moment in time that cannot be repeated.

I don't think so. For some people, sure, but not for all. My mom has a tattoo on her back of this beautiful woman who thinks represents the grace and beauty all women hold. The tattoo isn't of anyone in particular, it's just a drawing of someone she though would fully represent her thoughts. But I doubt this was a temporary feeling she had.

My Daughter is a permanent reminder of a temporary feeling I had for her mother. (hope that doesn't sound too cold!)
She is happy stuff !!!

Not to be disrespectful, you have a good question but a very painful one... My permanent reminder is not being able to have a kid after my past sexual abuses and operations and those aren't temporary feelings. I have come to terms with it, that's my spirituality I hold dear to my heart and soul...no matter what. Unfortunately I can't make someone else feel my pain, but at least try to understand where I'm coming from.

ummm, like when you see that ex boyfriend that you haven't seen in years and it gives you that temporary feeling of butterflies? It's a permanent reminder every time you see him.

I get a slight high sometimes when I hear a really good song I was rolling to on E just by hearing the song again.
