everytime i go away on a business trip or am around the opposite sex without my wife, she tends to think i'm out partying, flirting, and thinks i'm going to stray. i've never given her anything to doubt me in that area. i'm very faithful but she accuses me of cheating sometimes. what is with that? she's the most beautiful girl i've ever seen and is 10 years younger but she's worried about me! also sometimes she tends to treat me a little crappy. i feel like she does this for a reason but why? Why would a beautiful 29 year old successful woman accuse her almost 40 year old husband of cheating and flirting when he's been nothing but nice to her? she could have pretty much any man but she seems so freakin' insecure. it's not like im brad pitt. so what's up with that!

generally speaking....if a person is making those accusations its normally because they are doing it themselves....id be asking her if she is playing up....

Her being 29yo does make her a secure and confident person even if you are 40yo... sometimes when you love someone you feel everyone see them as you do... so she feels that all women look aat you as she sees you. And it may be something from a previous relationship. Someone in here past might have not been faithful... ya know. She's young and as she ages she will overcome this if you try not to make such a big deal about it and always reassure her that she the one...

She is just insecure, while your he away her mind just wonders into all kind of all kind of that you are probably doing while you are anyway. After awhile it really becomes a reality that you are doing all these things. She is jealous of you and more than likely is so in love with you that she can't stand for you to be away from her. Is there anyway that you can take her with you on one or two trips to show your working the whole time fast as you can to get home to her.

Could she be cheating? It's called transferrence...you accuse the other person of doing exactly what you are doing.
Otherwise it sounds like she is VERY insecure..is there a reason? Did you cheat once before?

Well dear, I know your situation. I am dating an older feller around your age,and I know that younger women are self-conscience even doubtful at times,because they feel threatened by older women.
I doubt she is playing around,she is probably worried,maybe because you have a hectic schedule. Reassure her of your love,spend quality time with her,doing goofy things,rekindling in a sense.
Also she could feel as if,well I'm young,and if I like him, I know there may be other younger women that like him,and she may feel insecure about it. Don't beat yourself up about it,and surely don't make her feel guilty about it.

she is the one who is cheating on u, she treats u crappy cause she has a boyfriend, and would rather be with him, u are a reminder of what she is doing, everytime she looks at u, she knows what she is doing to u. the accuser is usually the very one doing the deed they are accusing someone else of.

Sounds like she may be a bit insecure. Also could be because maybe she's having an affair and is being so paranoid because she may be afraid of you finding out if she is having an affair.

It could be from her past relationships - maybe her past men have cheated on her. It could be from low self-esteem - thinking she is not good enough and that you deserve better. Maybe she is cheating on you and is projecting it on to you to hide her guilt. Or maybe she has abandonment issues from her dad or other men breaking it off with her. Can you tell I'm a counselor?

Well we hold on to things much longer than guys usually do its VERY hard for us to cope??????

unfortunately my only experience with a partner like that is they accuse in order to cover up their own indiscretions, I learned thru therapy that it is part of their way of dealing with the guilt.
