The lady that i signed up with was nice but not very informative. I have tons of questions about selling before i decide to try it or not....
Can I sell to people out of town even if i cant hand deliver thier products? Can avon ship directly to them? Do I charge for shipping to them? Any basic advice on this would be great!

stay away from avon! you will forever be in dept and will always be asking yourself...did i make anything for the time??? my g/f treid it and they didnt even send the items on time and she canceled the order...they are still tring to charge her for em!

I don't know much, I sell Mary Kay. But, my mother sold Avon. She charged for shipping for out of town people and Avon didn't ship to them. They may now, though. I would contact your recruiters director, or someone else that is higher up, in a management role. They should show you a website or literature with all of the rules, tax info, etc.

i just used the Avon before, it's so bad, the lady around me all dislike Avon, if you want to sell it, maybe the sale will not be high, if so can you earn money?

I would get the name of your district manager and contact them...did you know your dm holds monthly meetings and you get free products for attending the meetings which are very informative? You can also let her know that the rep isnt doing her job by informing you...she gets a portion of what you sell so you think she would at least help you out as much as she could. hth
