I've heard the argument that pretty people are discriminated against. But in my opinion ugly people have it worse. At least when you are pretty you are envied and desired. And being pretty has it's advantages. I admit, it has downfalls, but compare that to the downfalls of ugly people have. Do you think ugly people have it worse, why or why?
P.S. When I say 'pretty' and 'ugly', I mean that in a perceivable way. Meaning people's perception of pretty and ugly. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

People look down on other people for a variety of reasons, yours included. Ugly probably has it worse.

Sometimes there are pretty (as in the Western hegemonic definition of prettiness, a definition imposed on a society that is more wrapped up in the TV Soaps than in reality or what is going on in the world) who are ugly in their personality and nature.
Often the people with true beauty and grace are those people who are outside of the conventional definition of "prettyiness". Plus prettiness is assoicated with people who really are soulless. Who would want to be known as pretty???
I mean yes, intelligent, compassionate, interesting, etc but to be known as "pretty"? (PS notice how I am being sarcastic about the word pretty)

I would say that ugly people in general discriminate against pretty people and pretty people discriminate against ugly people. Of course there are plenty of pretty and ugly people that aren't so shallow and petty to behave that way.

No pretty boys like me get treated bogus.I'm 16 and live in chicago.Girls always look at me while guys talk about me.They always have to say something negative about me.So being ugly is easier,but still I'd rather have it harder.

It doesn't really matter what a person looks like. Unfortuntaely, there will always be someone to judge you and talk about you, wether you have conventional beauty or not.

I've notice ugly people do look down on attractive people but it doesn't bother me because they are just showing me their low self esteems.
