Our country is very poor due to this. Shooting is a permanent solution.

There should definitely be a 'sentence enhancer' for those government officials who use their position to commit a crime. In other words, their punishment should exceed the average person's for a similar crime. This because they have been trusted with the public's welfare.

no , to say they should be shot is a little extreme i do belive however they should be given life in prison because what they do or don't do effects everyone no matter what state they represent

Corruption should be categorized as one of the heinous crimes and those convicted of this crime should be meted death penalty by firing squad.
