Hey guys,
ok, I'm 5-6 weeks prego, and I cant stop eating...yet I'm nauseated all the time as well. anyways, my fear is that my last pregnancy I gained 50 pounds. I already gained 6 lbs in a week. my stomach is huge and I've gone up two pant sizes. I'm not eating junk. I'm eating fruits and craving veggies, but I eat a lot of it. I feel so bloated! I also walk but I am exhausted after about 10 minutes, (also a mom of a 4 year old) So what should I do? Cut back on food? Exercise more? I dont want to blow up like I did last time.

can anyone help me with some tips??

Thanks!

They say you should increase your calorie intake about 300 calories when you are pregnant. That's not a whole lot of extra food from what you are used to. If you are eating way more than you usually do, you might want to cut back so that it's only about 300 calories more than what you are used to. Your body shouldn't need more than that, so if you are feeling hungry in between your regular sized meals and snacks you could probably get away with ignoring it. Schedule a prenatal appointment with your doctor soon and discuss it with him just to be sure. In the meantime, continue to eat healthy foods, they are good for you and the baby. Try breaking your meals up into several smaller snacks throughout the day (it can also help a little with the nausea to not have an empty stomach). I would definitely exercise regularly. If you feel exhausted after 10 minutes, try walking or exercising 3 different times during the day for 10 minutes each. That way you are still getting regular exercise but you aren't overdoing it. Your body will adjust better if you exercise it, and after a few weeks of getting used to the exercise you might find that you have more energy and can exercise longer each time. Beyond that if you gain more weight than you're "supposed" to during this pregnancy keep in mind every one is different and if you are eating healthy and exercising, your body will do what it needs to to care for you and the baby. Congratulations and Good Luck!

Hmm - i'm currently 23wks with my first baby and in my first trimester i lost weight due to morning (afternoon and night! lol) sickness. Although since that has passed i've put all the weight back on and then some.

My doctor told me that i need to "eat what i crave" because its vitamins etc that the baby needs. He also told me that as long as i wasn't binge eating on junk food then i should eat when i'm hungry and worry about the weight later on!

Even in saying that i was told to maintain excercise - i was exhausted easily too! Like another answerer suggested - if ten mins at a time is what you can do at the moment then do ten min blocks several times a day.

Also - are you sure you are gaining weight? Perhaps at the moment it is bloating and fluid retention. I looked huge at 4months due to fluid retention - at just over 5.5months i look smaller than i did then simply because i'm no longer retaining water like i was earlier!

Good luck!

eating alot of fruits and veggies is gonna make you get alot of gas so thats probably what most of it is.you just need to get enough exersize and remamber just because youre pregnant doesnt mean you have to eat for 2.i really didnt change the amount of food i eat a whole lot.i gained 70 pounds my first pregnancy but learned from it and only gained 20 my second time around.just be healthy and no matter how much weight you gain it will be easier to take off once the babys born!

Well you are eating all of the good foods but I think that you should slow down. Try eatting fruit when you want a snack and eat 3 meals a day. That was to much weight that you gain. Good luck

im exactly the same im so hungry and im 11wks.

i dont know if i have put on weight but my prtner said my hips have shrunk and my boobs and belly have grown.

the fruit and veg isnt going to make you put on weight. im craving fruit too and fish its all i can eat.

im extremely bloated at the moment but i think thats just down to the bowels slowing down due to hormones. eat a high fibre breakfast such as bran to keep it moving. the bloating could also be down to water retention so the best way to help is to drink lots of fluids.

if you want to exercise swimming is the best option. it supports your body and works your heart well without to much risk to your baby. im also brethless and this seems to be helping.

dont cut back on food but try snacking on veg and fruit with high water content like cucumber ( very few calories) and bananas give a good energy supply.

Make very calorie count. Lots of fruit & veggies... other than that....just let it be. You diet all you want AFTER your baby! I gained 56, 45, 23, & this time 60. So every pregnancy is different & just take good care of yourself & that baby. There are so many other things that cause REAL concern.... so don't sweat the small stuff. :)

well 1st thing is you're not craving anything your child is so no don't cut back on your food because that means your child is not getting the proper share of what he or she needs. just try to do more exercises, likerunning in place maybe a few situps the extra weight may be what you need to have healthy baby think about it. try not ot stress your self out because of your weight either remember you have to look out for the health of your unborn god bless take care

the assumption in the back of this new equipment substitute into to advantages the drivers for triumphing. If Jimmy Johnson wins the championship, i could say that he merits to win by using fact he won the main races. Consistency is one subject, in spite of the undeniable fact that it particularly is uninteresting. Seeing a motive force combat for a win is what we music in to make certain each and every weekend. Jeff would have been seeded first if he needed to be. enable's rewind the clock lower back to the 1st Martinsville race. Jeff would have bumped Jimmy out of ways and won the race, giving him one greater win, and Jimmy one much less win. He could have then nonetheless been in first place going into the chase. Jeff is going to pass down in NASCAR background as between the superb to get in the back of the wheel, he will constantly be known that way - whether he gets cheated out of this year's championship. it particularly is one race fan who won't sense undesirable for him.
