I feel horrible. I get these symptoms about everry 3-4 days. I have gas almost constantly. Tonight, immediately after I finished my dinner, I started feeling nauseous. The nausea was followed by PAINFUL stomach cramps... I was pacing all over the house in alot of pain. I also have diarrhea. Sorry I know it's gross, but yeah.
I really want to take a few TUMS, but the label says to ask a doctor iif pregnant or nursing. Hospital is taking FOREVER to pick up, and it's too late to call my regular doctor. Has anyone taking TUMS while pregnant? Should I just take them? Are my symptoms normal for pregnancy?

I feel your pain. These are just the normal signs of pregnancy.
Tums and Zantac are OK'd by my OB/GYN.
For your nausea you can take Emetrol.
If you have a Walgreens or CVS around you can always call them and speak with the pharmacist to see what medicines you can take. They have helped me out alot on the weekends when no Dr's were avaiable. :)
Also, 2 good websites for you to check out are: www.babyfit.com
and http://safefetus.com/. Babyfit is a msg board community for expecting mothers with LOADS of information for ya. Safe Fetus is a website with mostly EVERY kind of medicine known and what effects it has on pregnant women.
I hope those help! Good luck and get better soon!

Those are normal symptoms for your first trimester, but see if you can get a hold of the nurse line at your local hospital. They can answer questions better than we can. I occasionally take tums (I'm 8 weeks) but they don't do much.

I used to eat tums like they were going out of style. Yes, you can take them. I would probably make an appt with your OB doctor asap.

I get gas too. and my bowels never usually come every morning. High levels of progesterone relaxes muscles which make you go to the bathroom easier.

Hmm this happened to my mom. She'd just let it come natural, with no prescriptioned medicine. Just chill near-by your bathroom. If you got sore stomach aches. This is what my mom did, she drank warm milk. Or!!! you can be catching the stomach flu.
