I am looking for an external DVD burner that will burn movies for my own personal backup. I usually buy a movie then burn it and sell the original to save money. I have bought a Liteon burner from Wal-Mart and I use it on my desktop. It works great, but I no longer own the desktop. I have a laptop now so I need an external burner. I bought another Liteon burner this year and it would not burn any movies at all, so I took it back. When did they put this feature on there? Can anybody suggest a burner that will still burn any DVD?

i don't comprehend why you're touching on an exterior dvd burner. you may extremely connect 2 cd/dvd rws to a effortless laptop. If that's what you recommend by exterior. Connecting a dvd author directly to your motherboard supplies extra suitable consequences than a exterior one. and it extremely is going to be much less intense priced than the exterior one. besides alongside with the acquisition of a commonplace cd/dvd RW , you're entitled to get a dvd/cd containing cd/dvd writing utility and additionally dvd enjoying utility(that's lacking in homestead windows media participant) So do not omit the accompanying utility that comes unfastened with the acquisition of a clean cd/dvd RW.
