The Good...
I loved it because it has so many things that interest me.
Castles, palaces, art galleries, museums, nature/landscape, baked goods, coffee, some savoury food, music (different), stories (Brothers Grimm), history... the list goes on....
Fortunately, I have many good memories of Germany...the people seem to really love their country and try very hard to maintain and improve it....(Historical and nature sites) very inspiring!
People were very friendly... everyone would greet you which was really nice.
The bad... alot of hand shaking which I'm not accustomed to and as a kid I was really grossed out at the sweaty man hands.
Some of the food was unappetizing for me... blood sausage, smoked ham...alot of meat and sauce....
Not wearing proper walking shoes really sucked too because some places look innocent enough but you end up really hiking!.. that was my own fault for not thinking.
Those are my only complaints about Germany.

Germany is awesome! Great food and people and some of the most beautiful scenery in the world! I love Berlin for a bigger type city and Oldenburg is terrific for a smaller city (near Hamburg). The Black Forest area is just stunning and well worth a trip. Enjoy! The bad? If you are in the dating scene, most German men are cheap when it comes to their women. I say most, not all though, because I happened to marry one of the good ones!

Germany is awesome. There wasn't much bad that I ran into, aside from some people pretending they didn't understand english. Bavaria was nice, but the Black Forest is breathtaking. A Must on any trip

Well it was fantastic.Bavaria is a really great place.Munich and the octoberfest is worth a visit.Hamburg in the north is very good as well, though quite cold in winter.Everywhere I went was good. Some of the villages are like a picture postcard.Could'nt really give any bad reports as the germans are generally conversant with english
